How do I upgrade to Pro?

You can upgrade to Pro at any time. Simply log in to your online portal and select the 'Manage Plan' option.

How do I redeem my points?

Points are redeemable as soon as a transaction has cleared.

You can redeem points in the following ways:

  • Gift cards: Choose from a wide range of retailers. See full list available on your app or web portal.

  • Outstanding balance: Apply points as statement credit against your credit balance.

  • Cash to your business bank account: Redeem to the bank account we hold on file.

  • Alternative bank account: Redeem to a different account in your name or your business's legal name.

  • Avios: Convert via The British Airways Club or Qatar Airways Privilege Club.

  • Virgin Points: Convert via Virgin Red or Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.

  • Radisson Rewards: Convert 1 Capital on Tap point to 3 Radisson Rewards points.

To convert points to Avios:

  1. Go to the 'Rewards' section in your online portal.

  2. Select 'Flights, hotels and experiences'.

  3. Choose The British Airways Club or Qatar Airways Privilege Club.

  4. Enter the number of points you want to convert and follow the prompts.

What is the minimum amount I can redeem as a gift card?

The minimum value you can redeem is £1. Certain gift cards may have varying maximum limits. This will be outlined to you before you redeem.

Can an expired gift card be re-issued?

Gift cards must be used within 90 days of redemption.

If the card expires due to a technical issue on our end, we can re-issue it. If it expired for any other reason, we are unable to re-issue it. Contact us via the app or your online portal to raise a re-issue request.

If I upgrade to Pro, can I then use my accrued points for 1:1 conversion with Avios?

Yes. Once you upgrade, any points already accrued but not yet redeemed can be converted to Avios at the 10:10 rate.

How is tax applied to my rewards?

Capital on Tap is unable to provide tax advice. UK tax law is complex and will vary depending on your business circumstances. Redeeming points for cash into your bank account may have tax implications, depending on your circumstances. Please speak to a qualified tax adviser or accountant for guidance specific to your business.

How do I view my Rewards point history?

  1. Go to the 'Rewards' section in your online portal.

  2. Click 'Points history'.

You will see a statement-style view showing your daily points activity, including points earned, redeemed, adjusted, and refunded. You can also view points earned on individual transactions by selecting that transaction.

Why do I have a negative point balance?

Points earned on purchases that are later refunded are deducted from your account. This can result in a negative balance.

Why am I missing points?

Check the following before contacting support:

  • Cash withdrawals do not accrue points.

  • Points are only redeemable once a transaction has cleared.

  • If you are on Pro, the extra 0.25% cashback on preloaded spending is added weekly on Wednesdays.

If you have checked these and still believe points are missing, contact us via the app or your online portal.

Do Rewards points expire?

Yes. Points expire if you do not earn or redeem any points for more than two years.Pro perks and partners

I already have a Times and Sunday Times subscription. Can I still use the complimentary one?

What is the refund policy for Pro?

If you have paid for Pro and would like a refund, you are eligible to request one within six months of signing up. The refund amount depends on when you request it. Contact us via the app or your online portal for details.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

The main account holder can cancel their Pro subscription from the 'Rewards' tab by selecting 'Manage Plan'. They will then have the option to cancel immediately or at the end of the current period. If they cancel immediately, a pro-rata refund will be applied to the account.

What happens to my Pro benefits if I downgrade to Free?

Your benefits end immediately on cancellation. Alternatively, you can disable auto-renewal and continue to access Pro benefits for the remainder of the year you have paid for. The plan will not renew at the end of that period.

Can I get an invoice for my Pro subscription?

Yes, but please note that Pro fees do not include VAT.

Can I transfer my reward benefits to another director?

No. Your reward benefits belong to the main account holder and can't be transferred or shared with another director.

These benefits are only accessible by the main account holder:

  • Unlimited access to 1,800+ airport lounges

  • Radisson Rewards VIP status

  • Complimentary subscription to The Times and Sunday Times

  • Converting points to Avios

Can I give another director a gift card from my rewards?

Yes. If you redeem rewards as a gift card, you can give that gift card to anyone, including another director.

Can another director redeem rewards on my account?

Redeeming rewards is not the same as owning the benefits. The reward benefits stay with the main account holder even when someone else redeems.

If advanced permissions are enabled, users with the Administrator or Accounts role can redeem rewards independently.
