Priority Pass

This article helps you understand the benefits of Priority Pass™, how to use it, and how fees are applied.

Overview

Priority Pass is the world’s original and market-leading airport experiences programme that gives you access to over 1900 airport lounges and other selected travel experiences and travel benefits worldwide - including dining options, spa facilities and sleep pods. Priority Pass Membership is included with the Pro tier of the Capital on Tap Business Credit Card, for the main cardholder. Using Priority Pass

To enter a lounge, present the QR code from your Digital Membership Card to the lounge attendant and state you are a Priority Pass member. You'll find this in the Capital on Tap app. Lounge staff may also ask to see your boarding pass.

  • Finding a lounge: You can use the 'Find a lounge' feature in the Capital on Tap app or by looking on the Priority Pass website. Search by city or airport to find lounges that fit your travel itinerary. The app also provides details on lounge amenities and access.

  • Amenities: Lounges offer various amenities such as Wi-Fi, food and beverages, and quiet workspaces.

  • Other benefits: In addition to lounge access, your membership includes exclusive discounts at selected airport restaurants and retailers.

  • Registering with Priority Pass: You don't need to register separately with Priority Pass to access a lounge - you can get your required pass within the Capital on Tap app. You can also sign up for their app or website, where you can see more details about their lounges and your visit.

Bringing guests to a lounge

You can bring two guests into a lounge for free per membership year. Extra guest passes cost £30 per guest per visit. Guests must be accompanied by you as the main cardholder, and your QR code will be scanned for entry.

Charges: Extra guest visits are charged monthly, not on the date of the actual visit. These charges will be applied to your Capital on Tap balance and will appear on your monthly statement. Your two complimentary guest visit allowance resets each membership year.

Pre-booking a lounge

Some lounges allow you to pre-book your visit through the Priority Pass app or website.

Pre-booking is optional, but can help you secure your place at participating lounges during peak busy periods(lounges may not always be able to accommodate walk ins during peak travel times)

Note: Pre-booking may have an additional fee and is subject to lounge availability.

Do I have to pre-book a lounge?

Whilst booking is not required, we do recommend pre-booking where available to help secure your space. Any walk-ins are subject to availability and entry isn't guaranteed during busy periods.
